The HydrAton 1642 is a 64 inch, dual printhead, water-based UV roll-to-roll printer, introducing a new category of roll-to-roll printing with AQUAFUZE™ ink is a highly safe UV-curable water-based ink, made using Fujifilm Group’s proprietary technology for stable water dispersion of photopolymers. AQUAFUZE™ is a patented water-based UV-curable ink that combines water-based safety with UV-level durability, it delivers vibrant graphics, reduced environmental impact, and reliable performance across a range of indoor applications. HydrAton 1642 Water-Based UV Printer is engineered for interior graphics, signage, décor, and specialty substrates.

The HydrAton 1642 adopts AQUAFUZE™ water-based UV ink technology, blending the benefits of water-dispersed print chemistry with UV curing. The result: prints with low odor, low VOCs, and no need for aggressive pre-coatings, making it suitable for sensitive environments.

Its film formation system allows:
